I know that the third generation f-body brakes can be made to fit but how about the the 98 to 02 brakes and spindle?

You might be able to use the brake setup. As for the spindles
the they will not work. They run a strut with a high upper control
arm , no way for it work.:(

The standard 10.5" 3rd gen F body front calipers and rotors are basically the same as the 80-88 G body fronts.
The 87-92 1LE package and 89 TTA's used a completely different front set up with a 12" rotor (basically a b body rotor with a 4 3/4" bolt pattern) and special brackets that allowed installation of the aluminum dual piston PBR calipers that were only found on Corvettes of that time period. The standard f body spindle had ears that were cast as part of the spindle. These ears were removed to allow fitment of the special bracket and PBR calipers.
Bear Racing modifies stock G body or B body spindles in the same way to allow installation of the PBR calipers.
They also go one step further and machine a hub to allow the use of pull off rotors such as those used on the 84-up Corvettes and the 93-up F bodies. You can make your own hub by cutting the brake pad surface off an old rotor saving just the center section.
Now, back to your question on the 98-2002 f body brakes.
They are installed in a way similar to the 1LE/TTA brakes were on the 3gen models, but they use a pull off rotor which should be very similar to the 12" units used on the non Z51 corvettes from 88-96.
The PBR calipers are a great upgrade and very modular, but there is no such thing as a true bolt on to a G body.
You can use those calipers if you:
Cut the original mounting ears off the spindle
and
Make a new mounting plate/bracket for the calipers
For 12" brakes you can either use the 87-92 1LE/TTA rotors or make a hub and mount the above mention Corvette or 98-2002 rotors.
The could work but requires a ton of work since the mounting flange on the G body rear axles is completely different. Plus there is the common g body issue of the rear shock clearance AND rear frame rail clearance. Your best bet is to buy rear discs from Baer Racing. But the front could be pieced together if you are a good fabricator.
