A/C diode

Used the search function and came up empty. Does anyone know the specs of the diode used at the a/c clutch connection? The markings of my diode are obliterated and need a replacement. Thanks for any help. (I am aware that Caspers's sells a replacement pigtail but really don't need the plug, just the diode.)

You should still be able to get the plug with the diode on it already. Autozone used to have them in the electrical isle so I'm sure others have it as well.

My guess it would be a 1N4003 through a 1N2007 diode. Which is a standard 1A, 200V through 1000V device.

The 1N4003 is 200V, then the 1N2004 at 400V, and so on until the '07 version at 1KV.
