i am trying to get my air up and running. it worked when i tore the car down for motor rebuild. but now with a charge in the system ,enough to activate the low pressure switch . we can not get it to kick in the compressor by itself. if we put power to the clutch switch direct it kicks in fine we have gotten as far back as the relay on the pass. side and replaced it and still no kick in .
if anyone has a wiring diagram of the a/c system i would be grateful and also does the computer have any control on the a/c coming on.

thanks for all help with this,it is hot as hell so trying to get this figured out

thanks john

High pressure switch controls the ground to the compressor clutch most likely it's working but check it to be sure, should be normally closed.

ECM/SOL fuse provides power to the relay on the Pink/Blk wire, ground is provided by the ECM to operate it on the dark green/yellow wire, relay needs to operate to pass power to the clutch I believe.

Check the dark green wire out of the A/C relay for power +12 when A/C system should be running, ie. idling and control on MAX.

Light blue wire comes from the A/C low side switch and should be at +12 also when the A/C is ON.

thanks salvage 6 ,
all help is appreciated it seems basically the relay is not tripping power to the green wire wich actuates the clutch
