A pillar gauge pod(s)

The lower pod hits the molding around the dash.
What if I traced around the area where it hits and then cut it out?

When I installed mine, I didn't like the way it hit the dash either. If you mark the offending area then CAREFULLY heat the plastic with a torch, you can make an indentation with your thumb so it clears the dash pad. Anyway, it worked for me.
