Well, though I had the sucker nailed down to the PCV grommet as it was the original and hard as stone and cracked and the hose in the ear squealed loudest in its vicinity.
Slapped a new grommet on and the sucker is still doing it. I stuck the hose back in the ear and ran the hose all arond under the runners and flat portion of the lower intake. The sound is the strongest right next the PCV at the intersection of the middle pass side intake runner and the bottom portion of the intake by the PCV and over in the middle rear portion of the lower intake right over from the PCV (weird??).
I know it is not the PCV valve cause I took the sucker completly off and just had the line sucking and then cracked the throttle and still hear it.
Put my finger over the grommet and sealed the hole in the grommet with the PCV out...noise still there. And believe me the grommet is in there tight! And the surface around the hole was cleaned up befroe the new grommet was put in. The noise is a continual rapid pulsed squeal. (Not the injecs)
Got me thinking the lower intake is cracked some place around there and causing the noise. Or maybe on the bottom side of bottom half of the upper intake/floor of plenum. I looked and cannot see any small cracks and spayed carb cleaner all over the area and it is super clean now and motor did not bog and spraye dright wher I hear the noise. But my sight in there is limited to such a small space.
Wonder if the Coil/Module is emitting some type of high pitched electrical noise and it seems as though there is a vac leak???
Has anyone had experience with their intake cracking in the areas mentioned??
Thanx
