Alt. no charge after rebuild

Just did the 200 amp upgrade kit. Pretty sraight forward job. Now I get no charge at all. What should I look at?

Any one put one of these in? Are you sopposed to reuse the metal clip from the old regulater? It is missing from the pix in the how to. Mine won't charge, hopeing that is it.

did all the test the book shows, all apears fine. Put all the old stuff back in and it works.
