We all know that mounting a boost gauge on the A pillar, while great for viewing, constitutes a PITA installation.

Let's face it, life would be a lot easier if somebody would make a replacement A pillar that mimics the look and fit of the OEM A pillar.

Sadly, such a replacement A pillar doesn't appear to be on the horizon. Don't tell me about LOTEK - the fit speaks for itself.

So, has someone come up with a better place to install a boost gauge - not on the A pillar, and inside the car:

Easily viewed
Easy to tube and wire
Doesn't deface car (no holes, cutting, glue, and the like)

Thanks for your ideas.

I ordered a pod from Jegs.
autometer part number 2204.
I painted it interior grey at work and am going to mount it to the steering wheel. I'm going to have it at the "two o'clock" position on the steering column. I don't care if the factory tach is covered, its not accurate anyways. I'll take some pics when I get it all setup.

Does the Lotek have issues with fitting properly? I just ordered one and it should be here this week or early next. I hope they have some that are made properly.

when i have my company, ill make one that fitts on the steering column and looks nice :):D
