Aluminum bumper brackets, only use with fiberglass bumpers???

I was looking on conleys page and he sells aluminum bumper brackets but it says only use with fiberglass bumpers. Does anyone make them for stock bumpers???

Mike McCoy is selling off some stock right now and I noticed he had some 'Canadian' bumper brackets offerred. These eliminate that huge solid steel piece that you bumper is currently mounted to...saves about 30lbs or so. Kirban's glass bumpers don't need any of this as they bolt up to the bumper shocks themselves. Maybe this is what the Conely's website is refferring to, the aluminum bumper shocks...dunno, just a thought.
