Shopping for a differential cover/girdle and pretty much honed in on the Moser or TA pieces. Anyone have expenience, or opinions on either which is best suited for the TR?

Here's a partial pic. of mine on a driver.

I like the TA cover.

One thing I would do however is polish it up first then clear it with some wheel poly. paint, VHT makes a good spray can version.

It should help keep the white corrosion from forming.

Got mine with the stud kit from Jack Cotton on sale at the Englishtown event.

I used a LPW cover. I cleared mine after the install to keep it from corroding also. Still looks new.
LPW covers have the capabillity to add torque bars later on.
I wish I would have polished it though.

rear cover

I got one from summit racing and came everything needed it was about $139 the logo on it is summit.

I also looked at the Summit one and it "looks" okay but some of the "Summit" products are not really up to par?? Don't know that for sure but I've heard comments.

Thanks,

LPW? Don't think I've heard of LPW, can you direct me to their site?

TIA

GNX style aluminium rear end cover...

Here's a pic of the one on my car. It's a Kirban GNX style cover but without the ''ears'' to attach the GNX torque arm...
'Bye!

We use the T/A cover on all of our cars and they work very well. On my '84, I also added T/A's main cap stud kit which is a nice kit that installs easily.

Definitely get the cover powdercoated or Jet-Hot coated prior to installation or the bare aluminum finish will quickly corrode.

Went with the TA cover as they gave me the best price shipped.

Thanks for all the replies and photos.
