Aluminum driveshaft experts!

Can aluminum driveshafts be cut/lengthend/shortened? I have an almost new aluminum driveshaft out of a 2009 Ford Crown Vic police vehicle. They've been using these for years now. They seem very heavy duty and I wondered if they can be altered to fit the GN cost affectively.

Can be Shortened if needed. To lengthen you will need a new tube. There are conversion U-joints, different length Yokes etc..
