American Humiliation...I mean Idol

Just wondering how many of you have laughed your heads off at American Idol this week. I know its not something I'd normaly watch, but Im telling you Alan and I were crying we were laughing so hard. Anyone else see it?

What I can't believe is that these people think they are good!? If they have any friends, you'd think they would tell them not to bother.....Who actually supports these people? It was a decent 2 hours of comedy, LOL

Nah, I don't watch it.. I hate everything about American Idol. Just personal opinion.

My wife and mom are big into it though, that's why she has her own TV in the bedroom.

I have heard that this season is filled with worse tryouts than usual though, sad really.

I guess I'm jaded because I run a Cingular store, and We have that show crammed up our ###'s all season.

Hey... Wait.. they haven't shipped me my Life size Ryan Seacrest display yet... He's graced the gun range the past two years after the season... they better not be breaking my tradition.

You should see the excitement at the range line when I walk him out to the 100yrd mark... suddenly, everybody is aiming down my line:biggrin:

I hate ALL reality TV. It's for no-minds, and it's a sad commentary on America, Americans, and our lack of intelligence.

BTW, Chuck Barris/The Gong Show invented the genre (of entertainer/moron), and it was WAY funnier. These people are either plants hoping to capitalize on their 15 minutes of fame and/or so ignorant they don't know they suck, which is a little far-fetched.

The latest genre seems to be game shows for the galactically stupid, like Deal or No Deal...

It's truly pathetic...

The wife watches it, I occasionally glance at it while she watches, but I hate the damn show. I think most people on there now know they suck but just want to be seen on TV. Either that or the show is drawing crazies out of their homes....

The show generally pisses me off because it confirms my opinion that most americans are just idiots anymore, sadly. The fact that more people vote for contestants on that show than vote for our president is something to be ashamed of. Other countries must be laughing their asses off at us.

Soon we will all be a bunch of Wal Mart shopping, toyota driving, TV watching drones screaming "Git'er done!" while other more intelligent, motivated immigrants slowly take over the country right before our eyes.

Think that's good... Hope I get him this year too.. With the Rebranding to at&t... He's going to have company this year... 3/4in plywood should last a bit longer though.
