I've seen numerous posts on here about people experiencing engine vibrations at certain RPMs. So I just wanted to share my experience with a board that has helped ME countless times.

I had developed a noticeable vibration. It came in at about 24-2500 RPMs, and diminished above 3000. Didn't really feel it under WOT, just in casual driving.

So I got under the car and started checking things out. Here's what I found:

Driver's side motor mount bolt snug, but not torqued.

1 of the 3 converter bolts snug, but not well torqued.

Passenger side crossmember/trans brace, on the passenger side, had both bolts loosened up where it bolts to the side frame.

Once I had retorqued these things, I took it out for a drive. Smooth as silk.

As I said, just an FYI. I'm not sure which of the above issues was leading to the majority of the vibration, but all were certainly culprits. When tyou have cars like these laying out the power that they do, and especially if you have really stout shifts like I do, things get loose on you.

Happy motoring....

Thanks for the tips. I have been chasing vibrations ever since I changed injectors, valve springs, DS H&R poly motor mount and trans mount and a restalled torque converter.
I have checked the TC to flywheel bolts but not the others you mention. Here's hoping :)
