Another Emblem Thread- I need to clarify ...

I could have sworn I read somewhere that the hood bulge emblems and the trunk emblem- for the t-type-(ie: "3.8sfi...") were different.

I just went and looked through my emblem collection and could not find any differences. Am I mistaken? Are they all the same?

You are correct as they are different from each other. The hood emblems have a black side to them (both) whereas the trunk 3.8 SFI Turbo is all chrome.

Sorry no pics but..

The hood emblems when viewed from the side appear to have only a thin chrome layer on the face (front) of the emblem with a wider black backing layer (on the sides). The trunk emblem when viewed from the side is chrome on face (front) and sides. HTH

I went out and checked and took these photo's. I must be going blind. Anyway, I figured I'd post up so others could benefit.
