Antenna problems

When I bought my GN from the owner he said the power antenna was changed to an aftermarket one which does not really mount straight. I just purchased an used original antenna, bezel and nut from a member. It arrived and I see the antenna wire to the radio is really short. The one on the car runs from the antenna to the radio. Do I have the wrong antenna or am I missing a wire. If I am missing a wire does anyone have one for sale?

There is a connector on the factory antenna wire to radio wire that plugs together near the passenger side hood hinge area near the power antenna location.

I believe the antenna portion of the connector half is the GM mini-female connector.

Hi,
I know where you are coming from on this issue.GM no longer supplies the repair kit for the antenna mast. Instead, they sell you an replacement, which is very much NOT original. I went through the aggravation of installing one on a clean old Cadillac, and I would NEVER put the same on any of my cars.It looks OK, but not great. My TTA has such a replacement, and the Bezel is different. I don't much care for it.Just my opinion;I'm a picky bastard!
