I would like some ideas to help keep m turbo t from getting stolen. I hate to read the horror stories about peoples beloved buicks getting stolen. I have an alarm with starter disable. I have heard of connecting kill switches to the fuel pump, buying a thrasher chip with ani theft feature, and a kill switch to the battery. If anyone has any other suggestions please let me know. If there is one thing i cant stand it is a thief!!!!!!

hey could you use some sort of line locks i mean if the wheels wont roll it would be hard to steal

I have 4 anti thief devices. 1- the factory alarm (sucks but it still works) 2- a Viper alarm. 3- the locking steering column guard. 4- the autolock, the one that secures the brake pedal.

Anyone can bypasss them all given enough time, or just flatbed it out if they want it that bad. I park in a garage at night, so it's not out all night for someone to mess with.

I Had the Thrasher 92 chip with the anti-theft. I liked the anti-theft, my car hated the chip no matter how I tuned it.

If they want your car bad enough, it's gone.:(

The best theft deterent is the Traher chip w/anti theft. There is NO way to get around that. If your car is gone with a Thrasher, it was towed away.

Unless, of course, they know the way to disarm it.

i've got a viper alarm too, plus i bought the thickest chain i could find and tied it to a few different points on the undercarriage. It is then tied to a church bell hung inside my apartment. Just incase...

I've got a kill switch which cuts power to the ECM. I also like it, because it's slightly easier than disconnecting it at the battery...like when priming the motor after oil changes, etc. Of course besides all my anti-theft devices which include a alarm, a club and the kill switch...whenever I leave my car overnight somewhere (like at the airport), I also disconnect as many sensors and power wires as I can...fuel pump, ECM, etc.
