I have a question for anyone that works at a Chevy dealer or has an "in" at the dealer.

I have an 06 Suburban with all the options including the driver memory package. I also traded in an 03 Avalanche with the same driver memory package, so I'm aware of how it should work. Somehow the 06 doesn't work right. I have #1 and #2 remotes but they don't change anything, you have to push the button on the door panel. The dealer guy thinks someone dropped the ball when they developed the software for the 06. He say's the 06 Avalanche works correctly but the Suburban does not. He doesn't think GM will come out with a fix now that the 07s are out.
My question is can I simply have my computer flashed with an Avalanche program? Or is there any internal memos or TSBs or anything concerning this issue?
May not seem like a big deal, but I'm still tweaked about it.

p.s. We're also supposed to have two free updates on the NAV DVD. Do they automatically send these when they come out, or do we have to ask for them?
