Back when i was in high school (late 90's) a friend of mine found a blank penny in a new roll she opened while working at subway. She gave it to me and I recently found it back while digging through some old stuff I had. Anyone have a clue if it's worth anything? It has been cut to the correct outer size but it has no stampings front or back. It does have a bit of a raised edge around it from when it was cut. I don't collect coins except for the occasional silver quarter or wheat head penny that I find so I know nothing about them. I doubt it's worth any large amount but it never hurts to ask. If it's only worth a couple bucks I will toss it back in with the others and keep it for a conversation piece. Thanks.
