Anybody have an Eagle crank installed in a running motor yet?

Just curious to hear what all it took as far as machine work and what was used for the rear main seal.... Also, I'd like to hear what balancer and flexplate is being used (stock or the BHJ and JW)....

TIA:)

No machine work, balanced internal. Used BHJ internal harmonic balancer, JW flexplate and Felpro rear main seal.

Howdy,

It actually dropped in right out of the box with no machine work anywhere?????

Thanks,

I just drove it home this afternoon

as I understand no machining, just a little metal for balancing (internal)

new combo is all forged internels (pistons, crank, rods), 3 steel caps, Innovative BB 70. V2, 83's, ported GN1's, FAST, BHJ balancer, JW Flexplate, Precision 70mm/plenum/RJC plate

(your basic 24 psi TSM combo:D )

Sounds like you need to change that sig.... Let us know how she does at the track and get somebody with a digital camera out there to get it on video!

I didnt buy the flexplate or balancer, sent it to Victory engines and they drilled 11 holes out of the crank they did a really nice job ill get some pics on here sometime, will this be a disadvantage?

BHJ balancer is around 350-400 and a JW flywheel is 200 direct from them

HMMMM, THATS A LOT. ID LIKE TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THE DRILLING PROCESS. SEEMS LIKE FEASABLE IDEA. I LOOKED UP VICTORY ENGINES AND THEY SEEM PRETTY QUALIFIED.

cost 400 bucks for them to do it because its not the easiest thing to do, beats buying the other stuff though. Ill get you some pics so you can check it out.

thing is, if you are gonna run 10's, you need the BHJ to be legal anyhow (SFI certified required for 10.99 and down)

I had an external balance BHJ on my other motor, and the trade diff isn't that much....the JW is not required until 9's, but nice anyhow
