Been sending injectors all over the country for over 20yrs....Can't recall 1 single incident that they didn't arrive....

Same here, though they are now too expensive to ship cold air kits or large boxes to Midwest/west coast so I use FedEx for those packages. They used to be half the price but have gone up as well. USPS wants $55 to ship a 10lb box from CT to CA!

My alternator was $23 from Illinois to PA. Too bad it never made it.

The USPS doesn't commit fraud. People commit fraud. Your just as likely to have fraudulent people hired at FedEx, USPS, or UPS. When you realize in one year they handle something like 160 billion pieces of mail annually you realize something like this is a drop in the bucket

Sorry Rick, but I just cleaned out a ton of parts and sent them USPS all over the country. Everything made it there.

There are instances for every company to make mistakes and people can do malicious things anywhere.

Yeah I know everybody messes up once in a while but they won't even refund my shipping! They also said I had no insurance. So they charge a fee to do a job then want to charge another fee just in case someone steals your package. If a plumber fixes your pipes does he sell you insurance in case there are leaks after he leaves?

I think I saw your alternator in one of the boxes in the pics.:D

Is Wilford Brimley still running things over there? He'll help you out, if hes not too busy trying to crack that ill conceived mail order pornography ring.
"Hard to believe the post office is failing, with a business model based on licking and a random amount of pennies"- Jerry Seinfeld :D

im glad im not the only one ! I have to re buy a rjc oil pan from a member sent him tracking info ... he didn't get it ! Before that I sent out a real reds double pumper abt 2 yrs ago same thing ! F usp !

I thought it came with $50 free insurance. But it didn't.

Priority does, but you have to declare the $50 on the form when you print at home, not sure if you take it in.

I'd think you'd want more than 50 on an alt. unless it was just for a core.

Hey Cape is quite a distance from Hazelwood… that Hazelwood facility is actually pretty close to me - it's in St. Louis County. With that being said, i have shipped a lot through USPS and never had an issue… i have noticed pricing went up too, but hell what hasn't….

Lost a $600 package that was shipped to Canada last year. Tracking shows it made it to the sort facility about 150 miles away...... then nothing. Me and my buyer were just hosed !

I mailed a letter that had to be signed for. Took 12 days to go 30 miles and it was in my same state.post office is suckling these days

I ordered a part from Summit Tuesday. It arrived Wednesday from UPS and the box was beat up and re-taped and weighed way more than a gasket should have. Inside I found my gasket and 5 bottles of glazing paint for pottery 00glaze.jpg They put somebodies pottery glaze in my box. 00box.jpg I am sure they are pissed it was missing from their shipment. I called UPS and they told me they show my package was delivered and the sender needs to file a claim.

So ups opened your box and put the paint in it? Can you tell who sent the paint? Sounds like ups and the po have a lot in common. Bunch of retards.

There was no way to tell who shipped the paint because it was in a big Ziploc bag with no markings and several places sell it. The UPS label says 2 Lbs but the paint weighs about 7 Lbs. Maybe I need to check out some ceramic and pottery forums to see if anybody is complaining about getting ripped off by UPS:D

Is there some kind of batch number on the paint labels? Maybe it can be traced to the shipper if you contact the paint company? Or maybe I watch too much Forensic Files? I went to the PO today to try to get my $23 shipping fee back. "Michael" emailed a friend of his who works at the Hazelwood location. I left my phone # and he will call me if they find my alternator. I'm not holding my breath.
