Anybody use Dakota Digital's EGT a pillar guage?

Does anyone have this EGT guage that fits the A pillar pod? Is it worht the $109.00 Any pros/cons of this type of EGT guage?

it it doesn't record and recall peak egt, don't bother

I used it for a couple of years and really liked it. It does not have record or recall but I did not want recall as I want to know I am about to run lean rather than find I did. This unit has a feature I found neat and useful. You can set it to flash at a certain temp to act as an early-warning and get your attention. I used to shoot for 1600* and I would set it to flash about 1560*. From that point on I would keep an eye on it so I could get out of it if necessary.

Record and playback is a nice feature if you can afford it.
