just put one on my car and started it up, and oil started pouring out everywere, am hoping i didnt tighten it enough, ill have to find out when i get all the oil off the ground.

Have seen it several times...if it's leaking between the cooler adapter and oil pump cover then you need to make sure you didn't pinch the O-ring...also make sure the cooler adapter was seated properly before tightening...what did you torque biggie adapter to...I'd have to look at my instructions but I think it was 40 ft lbs...sounds like a lot but mine have never leaked...

hey

i would have to agree with the above. Ive done it myself nothing to be mad about. Ive crushed 2 o rings before i got it to seat right. i was in a rush and didnt take my time thats where i messed up. good luck and get a new o ring:D

FWIW & IMHO:
Sometimes lubricating the o-ring with petroleum jelly or something similiar will help keep the o-ring seated in the o-ring groove while tightening down and also the lubricant will help make the o-ring slippery enough that if it is not seated down fully in the groove when you start tightening, the lubricant will make the o-ring slippery enough to seat in in the groove rather than leave it unseated and pinch it in the assembly.

lol

ya i ment to put the petro jelly in my last post its 3:20 in the mourning in Iraq and im tried as hell
