This guy may be full of crap, but it is still fascinating reading. I started reading this last night and couldn't stop. Just click on the categories on the left of the page to start reading.

I'll not spend any time arguing about validities and errors, I'll just say that I had some fun reading that....the same sort of fun that one has when watching The Terminator. I've got to say, I'm really glad that the person who decided to play a character like that was fairly eloquent and (I guess) knowledgeable. Thanks, that's fun stuff.

One thing I notice immediately is there is no grammatical or dialect change in this person's writing technique. Usually there's a cultural or writing style that changes over just a few years. Just look back to writings and news reports of the late 1970's - early 1980's as compared to today. There are stylistic writing styles that reflect the change in society as a whole. This person writes as if they were writing as a person raised in the latter half of the 20th century. Certainly not a what you'd expect from someone purporting to be from 36 yrs in the future. Nice try I say....

My problem is, I can easily get the car up to 88 miles per hour, unlike a certain De Lorean. However, I can't get my altentator quite up to 1.21 Jiggawatts. Please don't ask me "what the hell is a jiggawatt?"

first off, BS. second, if time travel was invented i GAURANTEE the first rule enacted would be not to disrupt the natural timeline progression. if you believe this BS you are a true tard.

Freaky... If this is true, best start polishing my guns. Good reading, but the part where Russia nukes us, and then we nuke them back, then we are the largest trade partners? Does our "new" world drink that much vodka and eat that much borscht? Another thing, every major war has a given title. WWII was "The Great War", WWI was "The War to End All Wars", Korea was "The Forgotten War"... etc. He never refers to this one by any other significant name. Just a possibility I thought of when I was reading it. I am VERY skeptical of this, but this guy sure did his homework on this, and knew exactly what he was talking about, which is the weirdest thing of it all.

Yeah, the thing with Russia kinda sounded like BS to me also. I can't see Russia lobbing nukes over here in the next few years. Like I said the guy may be full of crap, but he is a sharp guy. If nothing else he should be writing screenplays in Hollywood.

I,m not sure I agree with that. We interrupt each otheres timelines every day. What is the natural timeline? What if you hadn't read this thread and didn't post this. Then I wouldn't be responding to you right now. As soon as you DO interact with someone/something, then another "timeline progression" starts in a new direction. I would say there are millions of timelines going on right now that we know nothing about.

Like the guy said, he has seen himself several times while travelling and the world didn't come to an end, and I think I would agree with that theory. In fact, You could go back in time, kill yourself, and a new timeline for yourself would start at that point.

Time travel can get pretty deep when in really get into it.

I would say calling people "tards" is a bit harsh. I didn't post this because I believe the guy, but the theories of time travel fascinates me, and this guy wrote one helluva story. You gotta admit that!

Ya there are some things you gotta wonder about, like why he chose to use the year 2036 which is only really a short time away, instead of 2136. Some reasons may be its easier to pull it off, make the story believable.

Also a great point mentioned above about the writing styles.

The thing about his apparent mother cashing in on this with a book kinda soures the whole deal for me.

Writing styles.......hmmmm.....good point, BUT we really don't talk much different than we did in 1972. that was 32 years ago. Plus, if there was civil, and world war, I would think that would slow down much social evolution that could change a lot of our language. Just a thought.
