Anyone running 3.5inch mass air on their uppipe?

Just wondering if anyone is running a 3.5 inch ls1 mass air sensor on a 3 inch uppipe(Right before throttle body).What are the advantages or disses.Can it be done?Thanks

I'll be doing it but I'm running an L67 OBDII computer so a bit different.
