I got this kit from Eastwood's to fix a hairline crack at the driver's side headlight and thought maybe someone else has used it. I did some testing with it tonight and when you mix the powder with the liquid it seems pretty decent! Only problem is the directions say to V shape the crack and fill. Before I do this I want to make sure it flows nicely and does what is stated..... or I will have a V in this area that may ruin the header panel:( I think it will work if I mix the two parts fast then use a spreader to fill the V. I have an extension section of the same material that I plan on cracking to test the theory first.

I've not used that particular kit but the V doesn't have to be big. Just enlarge the crack a bit with the edge of a file. Then apply the repair compound neatly. Word to the wise: let it cure in the sun for a few days before sanding, priming and painting. That will let it heat cycle so that it won't likely come back as a raised area once it does see heat/sun. I goofed my n/a header panel and have a little ring where the ornament hole was. I need to fix mine too.

Well the stuff gets harder than Superman's forehead so as long as you V the crack and fill nicely it should be undetectable after painting.
