Anyone you know lose an 86 Gn to the IRS?

A relative of mine picked up a 55k miles 86GN at an IRS sell for around 6k bucks. The only problem was when the IRS picked up the title they marked the title as beyond mechanical limits so there is no way to verify 100% the true mileage, but to me it looks like a 55k mile car. I wouldn't mind picking this car up for a great deal from my relative so I'd like to see if I can find out the PO. Carfax said it was last registered in Milo, MI before the IRS sale. It's an 86 GN Hardtop, full power, nice paint, nice stock interior, factory alarm, concert sound, stock turbo, but looked like a mease downpipe and cotton exhaust. I was dumbfounded to look at it and see the factory alarm light still blinking and the power antenna still works. The car has 20" wire spoke rims though so I almost doubt it was anyone one here, but you might of heard or seen it.

Does it have a hacked up shifter plate? I had a friend who had one "stolen" in Taylor, MI about 4 years ago.

I saw one on ebay with huge spoke rims a while back.

The shifter plate under the console? I'm not sure about that, but the rest of the interior is near perfect. It looks almost exactly like that one on ebay with the huge spoke rims, but it's not that one.
