Cigarette Lighter Removal

I’m trying to replace my cigarette lighter and was wondering if anyone knew how to remove it. Do I need a special tool? TIA

I recall you unsnap the radio bezel. Unscrew the heater control unit and the you get at the lighter. You probably have to pull the radio as well. Very simple

To remove the cigarette lighter from the bezel, disconnect the electrical connectors on the backside of the cigarette lighter, unscrew the outer sleeve and slide the cigarette lighter through the bezel.

Not a smoker but I just just use my thumb and finger and pull on the knob and it comes right out. Push it in and it gets hot in 30 seconds. No need to go high tech on something this simple right.

Mine rests in the console now because it flies out of the dash when launching the car! Haha

i'm no Cigarette smoker,and last time my lighter was actually used to light a tobacco product was in 1988 at the lake ,and it was a Joint..But
Brad was correct, with the installed of my aftermarket stereo ,I do remember unplugging all electrical connection and screwing out the inter
sleeve.

Same thing use to happen to Grass Doctor when he'd launch off the deck of the USS Essex in his TBY torpedo bomber in WW-2.
