well some arsehole tired to brake into my Cutlass the other night, luckily my neighbor saw them, hollered and they took off. Unfortunatley, they returned later in the morning and stole my sister's van.
All this reminded me that I never did get around to getting my car appraised and it is not fully covered. I have AAA. Does anyone know if I can get my insurance to do an appraisal? How much does an appraisal generally run? I have done a lot to the car with a lot more to do but even as it sits it is worth more than a regular 84 Cutlass.

Oh, and by the way keep an eye out for an 87 Astro Van (tan tinted, side windows, no hub caps and whitewalls) as well as 2 little caucasion punks driving a lowered black 92'ish Honda Civic hatchback.
I have seen them around before and will see them again I am sure. I can't wait:mad:

I looked locally in the good ole yellow pages. The one i used charged $40. He owns a body shop and does concours judging for a couple of different types of cars.

those guys had some serious balls to come back!

...and they will be swinging from someones rearview mirror when they come back. Everyone in the neighborhood is pissed about this and watching for them. They broke into one neighbors truck to get two screwdrivers to steal the van and I anothers for their stereo.

Anyways, thanks for the advice about calling a body shop as I didn't think about that, price sounds good too as I thought it might be a lot more.
