are 40lb inj to small for te-60

I have a similar combo but with 009/42.5. They are fine UNTIL you get into higher boost levels (20+) then, you'll probably run out

more opinions please though. I haven't had problems yet but I haven't run over 18 on boost (yet)
 
I run 42.5 and they are good but thats with alky helping i would definetly go up to #50pounders thats what i should of done
 
I think it depends on whether you have the stock unported heads/intake or ported heads/intake because the more air you flow the more fuel you will need.... For a TE-60 with stock unported heads/intake 40lbers or 009s (42.5lb injectors) should be fine, but if you have ported heads/intake with a TE-60 I would step up to 50lb injectors or maybe even 55lbers....

i run #25 on the street low timing and pulled

60ft-1.9
660-8.1
ET-12.70
mph-112
at 5000plus alitude


so that was first run out and i know if i can get my 60ft down(didnt even heat slicks also pull out the 15s in the trunk=150,200lbs) im hoping low 12s high 11s on pump gas(91oct)

sea leval-12.0(now)-11.2(hopefully)et at best
 
You Might Want To step up to be on the safe side

You might want to step up to be on the safe side. Im going to be running (hopefully if funds are straight:D ) Champs ported and polished, I wouldn't dare touch them without my 55's and I have a 60-1turbo as well.
Just might as well be safer than sorry

My 40s worked fine when I had a TE-60(have a pte-52 now and the 40s still work fine),,, ran 11.83 on pump gas at 18psi. Motor likes about 40psi of fuel pressure, vac line on.
