I was bleeding the brakes and was changing the brake hose from the A-Arm to the caliper. (was a little cracked) Well when loosening the fitting from the brake line, snap, OH YES I LOVE THIS CAR!!! Im getting close to giving up and selling the thing. Every time I touch something it breaks. I just dont think it wants to come out of the garage. Now I probably have to go buy and expensive flaring tool and try to fix this lovely contraption. What do you think??? How can I fix this?

Walk away from it for a day then bend a new line. You'll likely never be able to properly reflare the factory line. That is some hard metal.

How long of a piece of line do you think I will need? I think thats the route I will go.

By the way, on the bottom have of the hose that goes to the caliper, it has that slip on "o" end with a tiny hole in it. I see that the screw for it also has a tiny hole in it. When I tighten it, I am assuming that the two little holes have to be lined up? If so, how the hell would I do that?

Take a walk for sure. The car is old-things happen. I have been "there" countless times. Go for the new brake line, flairing will result in another post here authored by you in about a week. It's not worth it.

Don't feel bad...I replaced those lines also and mine didn't break...I just couldn't get it loose...I ended up rounding off the hex portion...so I took the flex line and hard line off as a whole...put in a vise and it still wouldn't come loose...I think the line is still in orbit cause I threw it as hard as I could...I ordered a new hard line from Classic Tube(ask for Tim)...fit was perfect...
