I have an 87 GN with a dealer installed ASC (American Sunroof Company) Sunroof. The original switch broke and I am trying to replace with as authentic as possible looking rocker switch. I have found a replacement rocker switch that fits into the ASC switch trim plate which was a task in itself!
Now the trouble is figuring out the wiring. It only has 3 wires going to the switch.
1) A yellow with Red stripe (carries power)
2) Dark Brown
3) Light tan
The sunroof slides back and open and also you can have the back tip up to vent. I can't figure out how these functions can happen with only 3 wires.
Does anyone have 1 of these sunroofs or have experience with their wiring?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
