 Ok,
I have been pondering a year now on getting a custom license plate and I think I have it narrowed to one and I don't know if anyone else has it but I like it. I just have a question for anyone who would like to answer this. I have been hot rodding around town occasionally and have been lucky not to get noticed by getting pulled over. If I get this plate do you guy's and girls think Im asking for a ticket?

MENACE

ALSO ARE CUSTOM PLATES GAY OR NOT GAY?

I dont know about anyone else, but I figure having an easy to remember plate would make you a target.
I had my car, then got a vanity plate. Lets just say that was the start of the tickets. Vanity plate is now gone.
Im asking myself the same question now that I have my Cruiser. I kinda want one, but then again, with the trouble I seem to drag around, I dont want to stick out.
One thing I kept hearing from officers.... you have enough money to hot rod this thing, you can afford a ticket. :(
Some states let you look up plates online to see if they are available. But, just because it is, doesn't mean they will let you use it. If they find it offensive, forget it.
Oh, and if "MENACE" is what you want, I don't think you could possibly paint a bigger target on yourself!! (Assuming it would even pass DMV)

FYI-
January 10th i was given a warning for 78 in a 60

I removed the personal plate years ago, went back with stock wheels and my car is not loud at all.

Officer pulled me over on the highway, i didnt argue one bit, just was very polite to him.

If you want the picture of the warning i can bring it up. I will have to edit out all the personal info.

I say, regular tag or collector tag.

I ran a vanity plate for years and didn't have any problems. I said when the cars are paid off I'm putting vanity plates on now that I can afford them. Back when I lived in Nebraska the GN said ERACER, my Riv T-Type said BUICK 1(ya I know, how original:rolleyes: ) and I had a hearse that had DRAGULA(Note to Rob Zombie-Where's my royalties?) long before the song came out. The dumb thing was that even with a little over 1.5 million cars in the state it seemed like everybody had them. I dont think I ever taunted any cops into thinking I would give them a run for the money if the blue lights came on. I cant think of the last time I got a ticket either. They were all warnings. When I moved down here to FL I couldn't get the plates I wanted to and you hardly see any of them around and there's something like 16-17 million cars down here. I had to fill out the form three times and finally got TORQN GN which sucked so bad that I only ran it one year. The green letter Q was on top of the orange logo which made it look like an O. Needless to say I had no problem with the cops on that one. Why would you think that anybody cares about your plate? Some cops maybe stupid or are dicks but a state issued plate is'nt going to stop them.
