I am looking at the ATR catalog and see that the differences between the dp301 and dp303. It has a list of pros for each pipe over the other. I am posting it below and I put the things that concern me in all CAPS! For example
DP301 Pros over DP303
1. CAPABLE OF DIFFERENTIAL BOOST CONTROL.
2. Numerous Springs Available.
3. Wastegate can be moved to header for mega sized turbos such as TE61 & Larger.
DP303 Pros over DP301
A) Lower Initial Cost
B) Meets GS Nationals rule which does not permit certain classes to use external wastegates.
Note: TO CONTROL LARGER TURBOS AT A 16-18PSI LEVEL WILL REQUIRE USING A DOWNPIPE SUCH AS THE DP300 OR DP302.
On this differential boost control, does this mean that my innovative boost controller would not be effective with the DP303?
And I am running a PT54, is this considered a LARGE turbo? I will most likely be running in the 18-20 psi range. So would I require the DP300 or DP302???
Thanks guys!
