B&M pro Ratchet install in console

Anyone have any pics of the console cutting required? Or can you verify that it is very close to the same as the Hurst Quarter Stick as shown here?

It looks like with the Quarter Stick that the procedure is reversable with just a new top plate. The B&M Megashifter requires a lot more cutting and basically cuts all three layers to a degree that would not be reversable without just about a whole new console.

I have the megashifter installed and i must that shifter is one of the best not one complaint and i have a custom fit metal plate that was covered with grey leather completely custom and i get a lot complements on it but it was a pain to do.
