Well i got my turbo t back out today. It was in storage for the winter. I put the 009s and street chip back in, and checked the oil and other fluids. I've been having a smoking problem during startup and while driving for the last few years (thats a hole nother post). Smoked when i started it up, drove it around for 30min and she still seems to run great. I did notice a stumble while cruising at 45mph. I guess its one more problem to figure out. It was nice to drive it but i would like to figure out the smoking problem and stumble problem.

Does anyone have a turbo buick that does run right and doesn't leak oil?

Storage sucks. It seems as though driving em' is better. Every time I store a car, any car, more than month or so, Turbo or not, problems, problems.

I'll just drive the Turbo until ither me or the car can go no farther. The oil leak thing-hate it. Front seal/rear seal/turbo drain?

Lose the rope seal in the front for sure!

the engine was rebuilt about 1500 miles ago. The oil leak is always from the rear of the passanger side valve cover and the rear main seal. I've changed gaskets so many times that I've just kinda learned to deal with it. I think i noticed the stumble last year right before i put it away. I'm going to reset the tps and iac and see what happens.

What does the smoke look like? I had a similar problem last year and it ended up being the turbo seals. It was letting fuel into the downpipe and it was burning in there. Is yours a black smoke or is it bluish?

Its a bluish color. I think the pcv valve is sucking in oil. My oil pressure is 25 psi idle hot. I'm going to try and do a leakdown test on it. And when i put my 3inch down pipe back on i will recheck the turbo again. Also the problem started after the engine was rebuilt, go figure.

I think if it is blue smoke it is fuel related. White smoke is oil burning. Someone correct me if I'm wrong please!;)
