Pretty simple question. Just wondering if people are leaving their seat braces in after a rollbar install? I've left mine in so far, but figure they're really not doing anything for me anymore. Thoughts?

I would say they are not doing much anymore, but as was said already, they are a bit of a pain to remove. The only advantage i think you would get be taking them of would be the monir wight loss...

I wondered the same.In my opinion once the car has a Roll bar or cage , the braces are a moot point. Im going to pull mine off, just so i can reinstall them in my T Type. Im about to have the car caged. Also since i have a trunk mounted cell i have to seal off the Passenger compartment from the trunk with appoved sheet metal or alum.:)

I think they could still help. The cage will reinforce the frame but not the body (cage is not attached to the body, it is still rubber mounted to the frame).
Granted, the body won't need much help after the cage since the frame is now more rigid but it could still help stabilze the upper body section...
