Bad motor mount

What will a broken DS motormount do. I mean besides the engie tweak. I am just wondering about the side effects. I hear a lot of people going to the hr poly DS and stock passanger, thinking bout ordering one up.

a stock worn, broken, or even new stock mount can let the engine move around causing false knock, bang your downpipe and dent it, etc. You will not be sorry if you get the poly drivers side mount from HRParts. I got mine from Bweavy at Gbodyparts. Super fast ship!

Make sure your motor mounts and trans mount are in top condition-


Extreme case -
I used to have a 71 Rustang... it apparently had two bad motor mounts and a bad trans mount, they were connected but not very well. I got rear-ended which pushed me into the car in front of me. Very light hit- about 15 mph. Not a lot of damage- but both motor mounts let go, the trans mount let go. The fan stopped about 1/4" from the $299.00 radiator. Both cast iron exhaust manifolds snapped- replacements were $500 ish. (I got headers out of the deal, way cheaper). Transmission linkage, throttle linkage, fuel line were all tweaked pretty bad- could have been worse with the fuel line and hot, broken exhaust manifolds.
