Guess I am guilty of not maintaining my battery properly as it looks like it is shot. Only drove the car 500 miles and didn't always have it on a charger when it sat. Has 12.50 volts and won't crank the motor over. Took it out of the GN and put it in my Blazer and same thing so it rules out anything else on the car. And the Blazer battery starts the GN up no problem. Just seems weird that it has that much voltage but can't crank over. Oh well. Time to get a battery tender, any recommendations???

12.50 sitting
But will drop like a heart beat once you put a load on it.
Id buy a battery trickle charger to charge the battery only when they are low.
I wouldnt buy a tender, just unplug the battery cable when your going to let it set for extended periods of time.

If you put a new battery in the car, it may do the same thing if the car sets for extended periods of time...if the car has small amp draw..

Since the battery has a good heart and the voltage isnt down to 0.00, charge it three times, use it very little between charges, just enough to take the service charge off the battery, and see what it does.

Also if it's not sealed adding half a tablet of aspiren to each cell can and will rejuvinate it. (if it doesn't hold a charge)

It doesnt matter how much voltage the battery has if it doesnt have any amperage. Hold your multimeter ate the poles and see how much voltage the battery drops during cranking. Anything beloew 9.6V is no bueno.

I have the battery tender junior. I put it on the all my cars once a month. It charges at 1.25 amps. Go to any motorcycle shop and they have them there. I got mine at the local Honda dealer..
