I am rebuilding my last 109 3.8 block which is bore over .040. four billet main with girdel. the cap and girdel are fitted and the mains was bore to standard size.the block have be shot-peen and so are the connecting rods. the rotating assemble was balance at 50.
now i am using a standard Turbo crank with stock resize rods.
I wanted to know if these bearing are corect and are able to run in the 10`s.
main bearing Clevite 77 PN# CB-1443 P. this is a wider rod bearing.
now for the main, should i go with the Clevite 77 PN# MS-960 P or should i use the FM PN# 107M?
i was also able to look up the cam bearing for a roller cam. FM PN# 1755M
I am trying to get the bearing clearance between .0015 to .0020.
