What is it :)? I've tried doing a search, that was tough (don't even bother using the word "intercooler", LOL), but I have done a lot of reading of posts, and it seems that the Charged Air Systems V2 (I think that's the stock location one, can't remember if it was V2 or V4) is the most popular. I've been away from Turbo Buicks for a while, so I'm a little out of tune of what the latest and greatest parts are nowadays. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jim

Thanks for the link, good info. Seems like currently the CAS V4 and the PTE Super Stock are the best. This is probably a question that won't have a definite answer, but I'll ask it anyway.......which one seems the best between those two? Also, I didn't see any prices, about how much are each one?

Cotton's

I believe that I saw on the other web site that the one that Jack Cotton sells is one of the better ones on a independent test, hope that this helps!

Two issues- one, which ones are best, and two, which ones are available. Don't know that you can still get a new CAS, or a Mease. Cotton's, PTE, and Thunder Fab are still available, though.

If you want a new one then I'd go for the PTE or the Jack cotton . The V4 isn't available anymore but you can occasionally find one used

If you can find a old Bowling Green customs stock location IC 23 row they work real good. Sometimes you can find them for about $400 or $500. I went 10.40's with one. The car was iron headed and a stock MAF. Im sure I could of went 10.20's with a few more go fast goodies.

Good Luck.

Looks like the PTE might be the way to go? What's the pricing? Also, why isn't the V4 available anymore? Does he not offer it anymore, only front mounts?

FullThrottle has the PTE stock location listed for $799 on their site and as far as why the V4 isn't available anymore that is pretty simple... Tony DeQuick and his company CAS are no longer in business (a good thing IMO considering his poor customer service)...

HTH :)

I need help with i/c identity and a bracket 4 it

It is a stock location stretch...I have been told it is a CAS but don't know what model. Main reason is that I need a mounting bracket for it. I have no idea what the bracket is supposed to look like. Never had it as far as I know.
Again this was a basketcase car and I am only in GN "kindergarten"
I can take pictures if needed ????? Thanks!
