OK so with all of this talk of the Ebay headers, I was wondering who makes true bolt on NO PROBLEM quality headers that have good reputations.

There are a TON of 8-low 10 second cars that have to have headers, so what are they running?

Also on a stock block car, are headers a good investment, or do the stock manifolds flow fairly well?

Stock headers are good down to the low 11s easy, if not 10s.

The best bang for the buck on a stock block car is by far an alcohol injection system. Run 25 psi boost with no knock on pump gas.

The TA headers fit.

ATR headers fit, but need a special down pipe. Also ATR is out of business, so you'll have to find a used set.

So are the TA headers the only ones out there people like?? 645$ for basic mild steel is harsh! I would go for the Jet Hot option though, I really like jethot coatings. I have used them many times, and never had a problem.

Your sig says you have a basically stock car. There are plenty of better bangs for the bucks than headers. Plenty of 10 sec timeslips out there with factory headers.

Poston has headers, too. They are not stainless, but they are ceramic coated. $529, but I don't think that includes a crossover pipe.

If your gonna spend $529 definately just spend a bit more and get the TA headers...I bought some and just put them on a few weeks ago...no complaints here....

Only one answer.............!

There is only ONE answer to this question - the ArizonaGN/TA headers are by FAR the best ones for turbo Buicks! :)

They are better quality, better design and better performance than any header ever made for our cars.

We spent 3 years in developing and refining the design and production to offer the ultimate header. Flanges and tubes are heavier material than any production header, and the flow design has given proven performance increases on 11 sec. and faster cars.

If you want to do it once, do it right, and go with our headers. We have full support of spare parts and tech info when needed, and the kit comes complete with all gaskets, bolts and clamps.

Nick's Tech Support is good too....He answered on saturday when i called...haha...I think calling a few times helped tho..

If you buy TA/Nick's headers, bend the vband clamp rod... :D

I bought a set of TA Header's and they fit perfect, in my book it is the only way to go. and no leak's, like they said Befor if you are going to spend 500/600 Hundred dollar's you should spend a little extra and get the TA's.

I really like the AZGN/TA headers. plenty of room for down pipes and they do not crack. they perform well also. I have installed them on a couple of cars and they worked out nice, no problems.

with those ebay headers, you get what you pay for...

D!ck Kerney has them on his car and he has gone pretty fast ;)

So, I guess here is what Im confused about... on a N/A car, headers make a BIG difference in hp and tq. Will the TA headers on our cars make as noticable a difference, or not really very noticable until you are running 11s or lower?

I will be honest, I dont really care if my car ever sees 11 seconds... I will more than likely never buy a set of slicks and my car might see the track 4 or 5 times a year. Im building this thing to be a pure daily driver. Now I do go out on wednesday and saturday nights and tear up ricers for gas money, but I really will never see the track... Im shooting for a low 12 second car on drag radials.

Also, I know Im going to get flamed for saying it but, I want the best gas milage possible... Headers on most n/a cars add 1 or 2mpg if you drive it the same, will I see a difference with this car?

i had no idea you could get those in differnt stages... whats the turn around like? any in stock and ready to ship?

Hey bud in stock & ready to ship.Just IM me if you have any questions.Just don't do it between 4 & 5 Pm like you did yesterday it's crazy here.

IMHO going with the TA header is a matter of quality and reliabilty. They're kinda pricey and you probably won't see much difference in a daily driven car. The stock headers are proven to support a 10 sec. car but with the money spent on the TA units you'll likely not have to mess with them again, which is a big plus on a car that's driven often. I've read all this header chatter with alot of interest but I've had nothing but good experiences with TA stuff, so to me, they're worth it. I'll be patching my stockers until I can afford the good stuff. Besides, with a little practice, getting that driver header off is an easy 20 minute job.... :p
