Last year I bought some g-Force T/A KDWS "ultra high performance" tires for my GN and I was wondering why everyone goes with the regular Radial T/As.

Are they good enough to take to the track once in a while? Or would the g-force tires be better for all around performance?

I was impressed with the performance of the g-force tires but they are $30-40 more then the regular T/As.

taking a shot here...

I'll take a shot here....could it be the TAs last for a very long time and cost so little? not to mention they come in real fat sizes for cheap too =):D

Thats the kind of answer I was looking for :P

now to just figure out what size for my 16" GNX rims... Maybe just 255x50x16 ? or somethign close?

ive heard from a lot of people that those g-force tires do not last long at all. so i am going to get the t/a drag radials.

77tech9. did you take your car to the track yet?

77tech9---Your signature indicates you got a 1.639 60' on street tires. What street tires can hook this well?

Well I tell you what, I had these g-force KDWS tires on, which are all season tires.

I got to the track really early, like 8 am and my first run was an 13.8 with 1.6 60'. It was just a perfect situation to get that I think because I can only come close to it now. Then about 2 weeks later early in the day I got a 13.6 with a 1.8 60'.

I think the tires are well made, just dont last very long, so we'll have to try some good old Radial T/As.

I was just worried about the size I could fit under there with the 16" gnx rims.
I was thinking on front 245/50SR16
back 265/50SR16 ???

87GNcospg, I havn't taken it yet, looking to get some tires, and some new shocks before I go out.
