Don't know what it is. Soo,what is it? Does it block the pcv by elimiating it or is it pressure valve inline with the plenum?

This simple device allows you to automatically shut off all that lost boost that blows into your crank case causing real damage and loss of bottom end boost.
I highly recommend this unit for all.

Ah check valve. I have one of those, got it from Kirbans. There is alot of information on them. Just click search. I was using it because of exccesive amounts of oil in the plenum. Recently bought one of those catch cans to see if that works better. Check valve did nothing for the oil problem. I've had it on for a week or two.Check this weekend if it's workin.

Just checked the pcv catch can, hoses and upper plenum.:) Thumbs up for sure. Oil in plenum will be a thing of the past. Don't plan on using my check valve anymore. :D someone want it.

The stock PCV valve is a check valve. Maybe not a great one, but still a check valve. IF it is working, there may be some small flow into the crankcase but not enough to qualify as "lost boost". Think about it, how much flow can you lose through that tiny orifice? (compared to the 600 to 1000 cfm that the turbo can put out) If it is leaking, there still won't be enough flow to pressurize the crankcase UNLESS you are running with no vents. Most folks use a vent or two on the valve covers, to reduce crankcase pressure and reduce leaks by the seals.

I totally agree! It's amazing the amount of oil captured in about a week and a half. Just a little over a tablespoon. Very good product.
