I am looking to go to a FAST system. Since the FAST system does not use the MAF sensor, I was going to change the induction to a Big Mouth 4”. May question is, can you get a step-down 4” to 3” hose. I am running T60-1 turbo that has a 3” inlet. However, I want to leave the door open to getting a bigger turbo later, like a 72, 76, or an 88. I believe all these turbos have 4”inlets, plus the 4” induction just looks great!!! If any one does not know the answer to this question, does anyone know a number that I can call to get a hold of the maker of the system or if they are on turbobuick, have a screen name so I can PM them?

Thanks,
Jason

I bought my 4" MAF Piping from ESP, and it came with a 3-4" adapter.
I'd bet PT+E or Cotton's could get you one also.

I was thinking the same thing bruce. Thanks for the help.

Anyone know a phone number or email of MARK HUEFFMAN? I'd rather have a phone number.

Thanks,

V8KILLR,
Click here: www.modelman5.com/tinmancoldairkit.htm to check out the Original"4" TINMAN Cold air kit for 86-87 Buick Turbo Regals. It comes with a rubber reducer 4"-3" ,but I wouldn't recommend attaching this type of boot directly to the turbo(because of the heat) if using a 4" hard pipe to your 3"inlet turbo. Best for now would be to install the "TINMAN" kit as it comes, adding a 3" hardpipe to your 60 series turbo. It will be 4" from the Filter to the rubber reducer adapting to your stock or 3 1/2" MAF. When the time comes to go to a 4" inlet turbo, simply remove the 4"-3" rubber reducer along with your stk. MAF, and replace it with a short 4" rubber hose coupling( I stock them) to connect to your new 4" MAF pipe.
