Would there be any benefit with going to a larger Throttle Body with my current combo (see sig)? I am going to do the heads and cam later this summer along with the converter but for now, those pieces are still factory stock.

Suggestions?

I and many others have done that. Many found the throttle response seemed to be better. One theory I read was the blade does not have to open as far to let the same amount of air in.

There are people who said their ET times went down slightly (maybe a tenth) when switching to the bigger TB. I'll let the physics people figure that out :-)

If you don't have one already, I'd add the RJC air distribution plate at that time. There are different ones for different TB types..

you would probaly be better off spending money elsewhere the stock tb should take you pretty far

With the turbo you have I would suggest getting a Jay Jackson modified TB. You may have to send him yours to get it modified unless he has an extra one on hand. IMHO it is well worth the money. I have my done 4-5 years ago so the cost may have gone up some.
It did improve the my throttle response based on the seat of the pants dyno.

its a do it now or do it later type situation. i just bought an 86 t-type that has gone 10.43@129 with a stock ported t-body and plenum. i'm gonna swap that onto the street gn and do a 70mm precision plenum with accufab t-body with matching power plate and see if it picks up any.

I would be interested in this as well. I thought about getting the 65mm or 70mm accufab TB & plenum but I will probably just touch 10s when I am on the race gas so I don't know if its neccessary or not. If I would be better off with just a ported stock TB and plenum.
