Nice but useless...

I also received a "Black Diamond" award sticker from GNRegistry and after that, never heard from them again. I even had to PAY to receive a certificate called "certification of documentation of vehicle status" which includes a "GNregistry serial number".
It's nice but but frankly, what good does it do for us??...It is nothing else than a list of GN's and T-types that after a while you get tired of scrolling down the list to look at them. I think that if they would put together some kind of publication or even some events, it would serve a purpose...but as it is right now, I feel it's useless...unless I'm missing something... The "Black Diamond Award" sticker is still in my desk..

Chris that is one fine ass car,So when do the mods start:wink:
Big boy will kick your ass:D

No mod's to the Limited EVER!! This white T is the Car that is getting lightly massaged these days.

Yes Jason the Gray Limited T is the one for sale, until i come to my senses. haha. I have to thin out my toy box a little so it's time to let someone else enjoy it. It truely is a GREAT car that would be very hard to replace at any cost.

Jason i used your wheels for the drag radials for the white car & 1 of them rides in the trunk as a full size spare.

I think that it is better than nice. I also think or thought that the "Certification of documentation of vehicle status" was an option and not a requirement. I believe that I was # 2 and that Aaron Coen was # 1 for the Black Diamond Award. I think that it was very nice of the gentleman / gentlemen that put the program together, and I think that you will be glad that you entered at some point in time. I am. Any acknowledgement that these cars get if for the better for us as a hobby, and helps keep the value integrity intact.

I love the limited, it is very very nice!

Ya got me hooked on the white car, what color is the interior. Isnt it a 11 second stock turbo car too? I thought i read it somewhere...

WLDWST also has a super nice white and chrome car, Wells is yours a chrome car too?

White cars rule:cool:

winner:wink:

Yessir, mine is white & chrome, but not really a limited. The original owner optioned for the exterior trim that is basically identical to the limited exterior trim.

Yes the white car is a stock turbo car. It has run 11.90's a few times but never on the same day. It was a fairly consistant 12 oh car on a 1.65 60' time. I'm currently changing the car around a little & have sold the BGC 23 row intercooler i was running & i'm going to run a Dutt neck stock intercooler with Razor's alky kit cooling things down. I'm hoping to turn the boost up a little more & run solid 11's on pump gas with a 100% stock engine, turbo, dutt neck intercooler on drag radials. That is my goal, time will tell.....

Bryan the White T has a Burgundy bucket seat interior. Crank windows, no cruise, am / fm only & had the chrome rocker trim also.

Mighty fine cars guys!

What mods have you done to get the white car into the 11s? My white one is pretty much stock cept for a cold air kit,TTchip,110 racegas, boxed uppers and lowers, atr bar, small shot of meth to cool off the KB front mount.

Im debating on porting the lower intake and doing valve springs on it before the new race season.

Gonna take it to the nationals?

Reply to "Wells"...

"Wells", I am glad that my car got an award, but for now at least, I doubt that it does anything to increase it's value...
As for being glad I entered, yes I am for a personal satisfaction standpoint. What I meant in my previous post, was that I never "regretted" anything...just that I thought there would have been some kind of "following" from their part...The only thing I was a little sorry about is that at first, they make you feel like someone very fortunate and privileged to own an exceptional car...kinda makes you feel that you're a "somebody" and then...you never hear from them again...It makes you wonder how sincere they were in the first place and how important you really were to them...
Claude :)

P.S: I never put the "Black Diamond" sticker on my car...Do you guys know where on the car is it supposed to be?...Thanks.

Bryan here is a rundown on the white T. Stock engine, turbo, bgc 23 row intercooler, atr headers & atr dual exhaust, atr downpipe (TH style), xp pump & hotwire, 60 lbs siemens, TT chip of course, atr cold air kit, rjc power plate, adj regulator, stock d5 convertor locked up, 1 air bag & a pinion snubber, 28 x 9 M / T slicks. Car always run on 100 octane with a couple gallons of good leaded added at the track. 21 lbs of boost so far.

The new changes are Duttweiler necked stock intercooler back in, Razor's alky kit (Thanks Otto!!), TT alky chip & 255 / 60 / 15 M /T drag radials. I'm tired of buying race gas & want to drive this car to the track & run 11's on pump gas & drag radial's with a stock looking car. I'm thinking 24 lbs of boost might do it with a good 60'. If it doesn't get me there i have a TA49 on the shelf that WILL get the job done.

UNDER-PRESSURE: How much of the history of your white turbo-t do you know? I have a feeling that I know a lot about that car. Did you just buy that recently, and does it have a repaint?

If its a white with blue interior car your thinking of Wells that came from Cali a few months back,It was just here.
Could use a repaint

I don't remember if there were 1 or 2 gentlemen that started it, but at least one of the names of the starters is Brent or Brett, I believe, and I think that they were very sincere. Proof of that is the fact that they never bled anybody for money like other clubs and what not that start up. And in your own words: we are very fortunate and priviledged to own these exceptional cars. And I think that we were and are important to them. Maybe they have other things going. I have not kept a line of communication going with them, but I am glad that you brought that up. I have never put mine on my car either. I think that one of these days the GNRegistry will prove a very valueable tool in accessing information about these cars and the owners.
