I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about this problem.
When i turn the fuel pressure past 45 lbs the car stumbles and dies. As well as when i turn the second fuel pump on it dies at idle. You can smell the fuel before it dies.

I have checked the following

1) Changed the plugs they where black.

2) Checked the coil pack . Good readings.

3) Changed the chip. No difference.

Does anyone have any suggestions.

Thanks all.

When you hit the 2nd pump at idle, the regulator cant bypass the volume of fuel, so it dies. As for going past 45psi, why would you?

Again, I believe you have too much fuel in these two circumstances.

sorry the car currently has 55lbs injectors. as well as chips.

I was always able to run the second pump at idle with no problem.

For some strange reason my car always run better with the fuel pressure around the 46-48 lbs range.

Know if i hit the pump the car starts to puff smoke and die.

Tps is good
Gauge on the rail is good

Could it be the coolant sensor, or maybe the o2.

The car has no codes.

as well as when you rev the car and turn on the second pump the car starts to load up.

It's never done that .
