I know this subject has been almost exhausted (no pun), but I recently installed:

50 lb injectors
Power plate
Turbo Tweak chip

I understand blm's should be 118-138. Is this at idle in drive(or Park?)with car warmed up?
Should the numbers move all over the place as the car is moving?

For example, when car is warmed up I see 140 at WOT, drops to 111 when cruising on the highway with foot completely off the gas. Goes into 128 range with foot on gas to maintain highway cruise speed. Settles to 114 to 120 in park.

Are these fluctuations normal or does this indicate a vac leak?

If so, mity vac and recheck PP installation I guess

Thanks in advance
Chris

chip might need to be tweaked. how were your blms before you installed injecters. blms should be 128 if it were perfect which will probablly never happen but you want to be close to that. 140 at wide open seems high. try fatening it up a bit.:D

It is normal for BLM / INT to fluctuate while driving... that is just your computer working trying to make your a/f ratio stoic. At IDLE the Blms should be "around" 128 [+/- 10 is fine.] Most chip makers lock WOT blm's to 128. Also TurboTweak chips are open loop chips.

Chris,

Everything looks ok except the 140 at WOT. It should be switching to 128 at full boost. If its not, look at your airflow (AF) on the scanmaster at full boost and see what it is. It may be too low (should be somewhere close to 255).

These fluctuations are somewhat normal and are different for each car. It is greatly affected by the accuracy of the MAF, especially the stock MAF.

Also, it switches to open loop only at idle. Normal driving is closed loop.

Eric

thanks eric.......could my fuel pressure be too low? it's 38 or 40 line off......i'll try upping it to 42 and see if that corrects it.....i'll email you in a day or two to let you know.....the maf does read 255 at wot

thanks y'all
chris

Okay, figured it out (duh...). Upped fuel pressure to 42.5 line off, blm's pegged at 128 at WOT.

Thanks again guys!
