When I give it gas it goes back to 128 hten at idle runs back to 140.

I checked the following.

1. vacuum leaks, cant find any
2. added new check valves.

will temporarly plugging up the vacuum block to find the root cause help me in diagnostics?
 
I plugged up the vacuum line to the egr soleniod went to 131 BLM then started driving around climeb back up to 138.
 
I've found the translator is off a couple pp counts and at idle does this in many instances. Since its not pegged, if it runs OK, leave it alone

I found when i connect the egr soleniod it jumps to 140. when I disconnect the egr I get 131-135 .

if no harm is done i will leave it alone in the 130's.

If the timing parameters were not modified for lack of EGR, you may damage the engine leaving the EGR disconnected.

If the EGR solenoid is leaking, why not simply fix it?
 
Last time I spoke to Eric about the chip , he said EGR isnt used.

I'm ordering a new soleniod & Valve, just for kicks. Not to expensive, I need to get it everything up and running perfectly.

Emissions test is coming up real fast! Want to be prepared since they just changed laws and made it more strict.
