My BLs are pegged all the time and I have a very loud high pitched sound. Sounds like detination but nothing showing up on the scanmaster. When a try to build boost by left footing the brake I get nothing. 3 pounds of boost when driving it and then I get the sound again and it misses really bad if I get on it. Compression checked and is good. Coil pack is good. Pulled the passenger exhaust manifold off and put new gaskets on it. Did find tonight that the number 3 spark plug is arcing really bad. Would that cause all of my problem. Running a translator with the extender chip. I have replace all the rubber hoses so a vacuum leak still possible but I would think unlikely.

I will look at the plug and wire tomorrow. Any other ideas would be appreciated.

High BLMs sound like a vacuum leak.
Could the sound be the compressor wheel in the turbo hitting the housing?

hey jim my wires came in tonight if you want the other ones i could bring them tommorrow or this weekend. will try to do some research and see what i come up with

Brian I will take the wires. I appreciate your help. I'll give you a call to try and hook up to get them from you.

Have a great day!

come on guys this fellow turbo gent needs help asap lets give him some appreciated help. his blms are pegged at 160 the car will not make boost well just a few pounds once it gets to 10 it sputters and pops and bucks sounds like massive knock or electical spark but does not register on scanmaster this happened after running at the track off the line the car has commetic gaskets his compression all checks out good and we tried another coil pack with no change he sounds like it got a head gasket leak but i dont think it would act like this. also his number 3 wire is arcing off the block when u crank it over

Is the spark plug (ground strap), or spark plug wire arcing? Did you try new plugs and wires? What did the old plugs look like? did they all look the same? Any codes? Is this sound coming from one side of the engine, or from the exhaust?

1st get that spark plug fixed

Car is running way lean. You ecm is trying to make up for it adding as much fuel as it can. Thats what its doing when blm runs high, adding fuel. You are at the end of the line at 160. It cannot add any more fuel and your still lean.
Why your knock sensor is not working is beyond me. Mabye you need a new one. Tap on the side of it with screwdriver or something when the car is running and see if you pick it up.

Otherwise fuel Preassure would be the first thing I look at. Check under load.

Major vacuum or exaust leak would also cause this condition.

I would'nt be gettin on it to much before you figure it out.

i meant to say it sounds like an exhaust gasket leak not head gasket anyway the sound is on the passenger side he didnt get wires yet also the fuel pressure rises with boost and didnt get to try the knock sensor do you think this is the head gasket compression blowing out between the head and block?

Blown headgasket

It happens alot, thats a good possibility. Its either exaust or the head gasket.

fixed the block learn problem he had his translator switch set wrong it was on 15% lean at idle put it on 1 base and it is 118+- anyway fixed a couple vacuum, lines and crossover leak and it still makes this wierd noise under boost so we disconnected the wastegate and took it for a spin and it ran great at wot just no boost. so this leads me to believe its boost related or turbo related like something is wrong with the turbo or the head is lifting and its blowing boost out the side of the gasket. even when the noise is coming out the car still pulls hard and runs good it sounds like arc welding or popcorn popping hard and fast we also found a cracked plug that did help the bucking but not the noise can you still blow a commetic head gasket
