Anyone use a blow off valve? Which one? Where to mount? Been looking at the one that ATR sells. Would like to put one on the up pipe.

This has been covered countless times on the board. Do a search. BTW, expect to get chewed out a little. A lot of the more conservative people here frown on the notion of using one on a TR. I don't care if people use them or not-personal preference.

I have a old Turbonetics Blue top on one of my GNs. The new Raptor BOV is nice.
Sounds cool and that is about all. I bought the car with it already installed.
I do however like to mess with the import guys when I go by and all the while they are looking to see where the sound is coming from.

I mean it can't be coming from that black Monte Carlo??:D

Don't mean to cut in here but....

Justrckl,

What happened to your car? That sucks man!

I just bought a 1st Gen turbo Eclipse BOV that was "crushed" to handle more boost and had it welded to my up-pipe and plummed the vacuum line in and good to go.

It's not all that loud, but it keeps 21psi from rushin back to the turbo on emergency let ups of the throttle ;)

paid $50 for a used BOV

A guy jumped in front of me. 3 way intersection, and I guess he thought it was a 3 way stop, but it wasn't. I was on the main road and he was on the dead end of the 'T'. The 1g eclipse bov's can handle a ton of boost from what I hear. Someone in one of these threads said that they noticed their car running pig rich whenever they let off... Wouldn't DFCO cover that though? I don't have to worry about it since I'm mafless, but I thought it was interesting.
